Swara Nakshatra : 2013

Indian classical music is the Jewel in the Crown of India’s ancient heritage and its rich tradition. It has not only sustained the onslaught of alien conquests and western culture; but has also represented the spirituality inherent in the divine land India. The great artists of the land have been contributing to the creative arts and propagating its legacy.

So, for the celebration of the Sixtieth year, the theme is ‘Swara Nakshatra’. In these pages, I have paid tribute to some of the luminaries who have shared the prestigious ‘Swaramancha’, many a times in these sixty years.
