Swarasadhak : 2019

Indian classical music has a very long and rich tradition. However, despite such a long tradition right from the Vedic era, our music has always remained dynamic and ever-changing with time. Numerous geniuses of Indian classical music have contributed not only to preserve but also to enrich this tradition through their creativity. To continue this mission of taking this legacy to further heights of excellence, the present generation of artistes are eager and also quite capable. Surfing on the waves of advanced technology, these artistes are enriching our musical tradition by their untiring efforts. The visual concert of some such gifted and talented musicians…. is the theme of this year’s musical calendar, ‘Swarasadhak 2019’.
