The ‘Tabla’ an accompaniment instrument, has a very prime place in Indian music. It is proved to be the best amongst rest of the accompaniment instruments.

One can not say that one has had complete command over this instrument nor can one boast of having a complete knowledge of it. The past generations Tabla artists have taken tremendous efforts, protected it in difficult times and passed on the enriched legacy to the next generations. It can be very rightly said that the ‘Tabla’ is a greatest guru itself.
